The recipe for our shortbread is extremely simple: salt, sugar, butter, eggs, bicarbonate. The skill lies in using the perfect dose of these ingredients, obtaining a paste with the right consistency. At Bristot, we have been confectioners and pastry makers for generations and make our shortbread entirely by hand. Only in this way is it possible to assure the finest consistency for our biscuits. After filling each one by hand with fresh jams, they are baked. Finally, they are sprinkled with icing sugar.
